Custom made pad printing automation for brake linings
This pad printing automation is built to print onto truck brake linings. An existing belt conveyor (already at customer) is forwarding the substrates to the pad printing machines which are located left and right from the conveyor. If a brake lining is detected, a clamping system will pick up the lining and lift it up from the conveyor. When lifted the lining is printed from to sides. After printing, the lining will be put on the conveyor again after which the lining will be forwarded again. The automation is built with 2 TTN Next generation 200 EKO pad printing machines. These machines are rebuilt in a way that they can print horizontally.
